Were these good cars? I always got the impression they were just a Civic with a better interior?

Beautiful design, k20 making 200hp and a Honda 6 speed?
I think they are great, a RSX So is gonna be my next car.
While it shares alot with the EP3, the EP3 SI makes only 160 from it’s k20 and it’s obviously not as comfortable

More powerful engine and a better trans as well. Plus it’s a liftback

My cousin bought a grey A spec like that first one a month or so ago. It’s nice, powerful, looks great, and is decently economical. he also paid 4500 bucks for a car with 193,000 miles that’s 14 years old. But I think it was worth it. His budget was 6k and I think for that he couldn’t have done much better.
We also looked at a 5 thousand dollar EP3 with only 100,000 miles, but the interior was gross.

What was the superlative that got tossed around when the RSX Type S came out? First naturally aspirated production motor to hit 1hp per liter? That doesn't sound right, but something like that.

The Honda S2000 was the one with that title. They actually got up to 120hp/liter.
